Surrounding

Cumbuco:
Cumbuco is a small picturesque fishing village in Brazil, app. 35 km from Fortaleza (northern Brazil, Ceará staate) with not too many tourists around so far. The village itself has about 1000 inhabitants and because of its nice climate it has become a weekend resort for many people from Fortaleza and other parts of Brazil.
The climate is tropical with prevailing southeast winds. The landscape features high sand dunes on which you can ride with buggies. The beach, gently sloping into the water, is about 20kms long and offers many different sparetime possibilities like: kitesurfing; swimming; horseback and buggy riding…

The wind-conditions alow you to go kite or windsurfing every day. Because of the beautiful and high sand dunes the thermal lift to go kitsurfing develops every day.
Traveling north of Cumbuco (for example to Jericoacoara) you will find even more wind. Moving southwards (for example to Canoa Quebrada) you will find a little less wind.
You don’t need a wetsuit all year!
Temperature differs the whole year from 20-25 C in the water and 25-35 C on land.
