Casa Vento is a holiday home, located at the outskirts of Cumbuco close to the dunes and with a spectacular view over the sea.

We managed to combine the traditional brasilian way of building houses and using natural ways for air conditioning with modern ways of energy generation and solar technology. And since, in Brazil, the sun is for everyone and a nice shady space is a lot harder to find, we built a shady place with hammocks that can be used in different spaces for everyone to relax and dream in.

The house consists of 4 rooms, each with a bathroom. In every room there are two beds with special barrel core matrasses, nightstands, lamps and a bathroom with shower (cold/warm), closet, a safe and a fridge. All rooms are well aired because of the windows and doors with adjustable fins. On the first floor there are fans on the ceilings as well.
The rooms on the second floor have a tall, airy roof.
There is a wide, roofed patio with BBQ, sink and cooking facilities for common use. Bikes and hammocks are available as well.

Using the kitchen is free of charge!
Breakfast costs € 5,- per person each day.
Long-term residents get a discount.
Laundry washing can be done for a small fee and it’s also possible to get someone to do the grocery shopping for you.
The surrounding is really quiet and the beach is only 200m away. To the village center you walk approximately 15 minutes. There is a great italian restaurant at Arutam Hotel, a five minute walk, that is open from 5pm to 10pm.
